Government Vacancy in National Geophysical Research Institute : Job Search

National Geophysical Research Institute, NGRI, a premier Research Institute under Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi, Applications are invited for the following posts from bright and eligible Indian Nationals with brilliant academic record, a high degree of motivation and desire to take up research in Earth Science as a career:

A. Scientist Gr.IV (1) :

No of Post : 26 posts in various disciplines,
Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 with grade pay Rs. 5400/-,
Age Limit : Should not exceed 35 years as on the last date for receipt of filled in applications.
Essential Qualification : First class M.Sc. / M.Sc. (Tech) OR M.Tech. in Geophysics / Applied Geophysics/ Marine Geophysics from a recognized University.

B. Technical Assistant Gr.III (2) :

No of Post : 01 post,
Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 with grade pay Rs. 4200/-,
Age Limit : Should not exceed 28 years as on the last date for receipt of filled in applications.
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. (Maths) OR MBA(Finance) with minimum of 55% marks. Desirable: Knowledge in Computer Operation and Data-base Management. Some relevant experience in reputed firms or in R&D Institutions.
C. Technical Assistant Gr.III (1) :

No of Post : 07 posts in various disciplines,
Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 with grade pay Rs. 4200/-,
Age Limit : Should not exceed 28 years as on the last date for receipt of filled in applications.
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. (Maths) OR MBA(Finance) with minimum of 55% marks. Desirable: Knowledge in Computer Operation and Data-base Management. Some relevant experience in reputed firms or in R&D Institutions.
